Robert "Duke" Nelligan is truly a "Big Wig," in the world of gymnastics. Duke has coached and led teams in gymnastics that had participated in the Olympics and World Championships Games.

As a gifted athlete in multiple sports, Duke has been willing to share this knowledge with kids of all ages! After learning the game of Pickleball and teaching many in the game, Duke is now teaching Pickleball to "physically challenged" individuals.

In this new episode of Pickleball Nation the hosts introduce a new “Pondering Pickleball,” video. Next, the hosts interviewed the great athlete Hayward Corley. Hayward talks about growing up in Washington DC where he became good at playing sports throughout his time in public school. This eventually led him to playing football and running track at Howard University where he also met his wife. Hayward talks about his work life and raising a family of athletes.

Shari Sternberg introduces a new segment called, "Pondering Pickleball."

In this latest Pickleball Nation Podcast the hosts discuss several upcoming tournaments which include the first ever inaugural Pickleball tournament being sponsored by and held at The City of Bowie Gymnasium.  They also highlight a weekend warriors’ segment.  The featured guest is Jane Martin who was a trailblazer and game changer in women’s college basketball and softball.  Jane has since transferred her talents to playing Pickleball.

Pickleball Nation's hosts interview Player/Coach Jerry Butler who shares his journey from tennis into Pickleball. Jerry's mastery of the game has garnered him over forty medals. Now he talks about teaching others how to play the game.

Shari will talk about her recent trip to a resort on Punta Cana.  She will also talk about how she and the group she was traveling with called, “Carpe Dinkum”, left the resort to donate sports equipment to a middle school called Calasanz.
