    Jun 2 2023
It’s still a long wait until the new seasons starts, so to help the time go a little quicker, tell us your story. In this short series we will look back on events, memories or games from down the years. So, what was the game or your life? What are your childhood memories watching the Port? Hopefully these reflections will have a personal touch and we would be grateful if individual supporters would submit their own stories to feature in the series. If you would like to get involved, send a voice message to the Port Chat Podcast:https://anchor.fm/port-chat/message

    May 20 2023

Back in 2021 Dan had a long chat with former Vice Chairman of Southport Football Club, Barry Hedley. This is Part 2 of that Interview

As we're all just sitting in the park waiting for the fixtures to come out, if you've not heard it before its a good way for any Southport fan to pass a couple of hours.

Working with 2 different Chairmen and a number of managers whilst holding roles with the Youth, Reserves and even as Assistant Manager to Bob Murphy, Barry lifts the lid on his relationship with Charlie, the Mark Wright and Mike Walsh eras amongst other things, answering questions that hadn’t been publicly asked before about the Clapham era including shareholding, board meetings and sackings.
