On this episode of Pour Mom! I sat down with my three children and had the "TALK!". No, not the birds and the bees but the R-word. Yes, Racism, my kids, who are ages 14, 11, and 7, got real and gave an eye-opening perspective of what they felt it was like to be black in America. The impacts they believed police brutality has had and what challenges they face at school being one of few black kids in the class. As a mom, I realized I could not shield them from the backlash of being black in America.

On this episode of Pour Mom! I went to the streets, well more like the streets of social media to ask the question: IS THERE ROOM AT THE TABLE FOR EVERYONE? The results were surprising so I sat down with my best friend Sade Bradford Bond to discuss why women especially black and brown women tend to withhold the game plan from each other.
