    Dr. Martina Lavery's vision is to make your oral health the best it can be. Martina has been a dentist for over 22 years and works in the Hills District of Sydney. Having studied dentistry in her native country in Ireland (Belfast), she migrated to Australia after being awarded a forensic dentistry scholarship at Adelaide University.


    Martina’s philosophy of care is preventative in nature, respecting how the health of your mouth is integral to your overall well-being. She is a huge advocate and believer in 'brain training', and applies neuropsychology in her clinical practice.


    Her greatest joy at work is forming relationships with patients and looking after successive generations of families. Martina is interested in practicing all aspects of dentistry, including children’s dentistry, general dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. She is focused on achieving clinical outcomes and sees her work as a great privilege to look after people’s teeth.

    Director of The Dementia Centre at HammondCare, Professor Colm Cunningham leads an Australian and International team of over 250 staff involved in research, education, and consultancy. The centre’s priorities include building design, life engagement, models of care, and end-of-life care for people with dementia. The Centre supports people with dementia through HammondCare’s specialist residential and community services and our provision of the Australian Government Dementia Support Australia program.


    Colm is a Conjoint Associate Professor at the University of NSW in the School of Public Health and Community Medicine and a Visiting Fellow in Dementia Design and Practice at the University of Edinburgh School of Health in Social Science.
