Amy Powell is a mother of two, a hiker and backpacker, coach, and conscious business consultant. Always on the move, she has transitioned from Missouri to Arizona to California to Australia to Oregon and, finally, back to Missouri.

As an executive coach, Amy has helped over one thousand leaders navigate careers in organizations with more than forty thousand people.

She developed the group coaching program Women on the Move (now Women on the Rise) and has run the program for fifteen years. Her book "Rise Like a Woman" is largely based on that program.
