About this listen
Hey, listeners! Our names are Olivia and Jessica and we're two fellow grad students at VCU. This podcast started as a final project for ENGL 624: Cultures of Captivity with Dr. Catherine Ingrassia. We'll be taking texts from the long-eighteenth century and analyzing them next to more contemporary texts and adaptations such as Twilight, Bridgerton, and Disney's The Little Mermaid.
