About this listen

So often when we falter and fall short in our walk of faith, we hide away from the Holy Spirit because we begin to feel unworthy or that we have disappointed God. The Devil likes when we do this because we are so busy hiding away from all things that would convict us, we no longer want to face God in prayer, we sometimes stay away from fellowshiping with other believers, we feel like hypocrits and the enemy loves this. Because it gives him room to increase the separation gap between us and our Father. He reinforces the lies we tell ourselves that God our Father no longer wants us and somehow we are no longer his children. We forget that Mercy, Salvation, Grace is not by our works. Before we were born God knew us and he loved us anyway. Whilst we were yet sinners Jesus died for us, God gave his only son for us, so if he could love us then and give so great a sacrifice for us, what would make God stop loving us now. David knew this, as In Psalms 51 we have an example of David, running to God with a repentant heart seeking God's mercy. 1st John 2:1 tells us that "My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin.  And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous." Let us put away the lies of the enemy, where we do falter and run back with a repentant heart into the arms of our loving Father. Just as David did let us run to the one who redeems our sins, let us kneel at his feet and humbly confess our wrongs.  God's Mercy is calling us unto repentance. Will you not heed the call?
