Happy Hump Day, Queerdos! Today we're talking about the scariest thing in the GOP's nightmares: the Pride flag! Unfortunately, Bradley DoLittle has signed Idaho HB 561 into law, banning all government buildings in Idaho from displaying the Pride flag. Don't worry, the iconic Mayor McLean responds with love and an ingenious form of malicious compliance (our favorite way to comply)! Taylor's gonna tell you all about the OG Pride flag, the Pride flag evolution, and why the flag is important today. Crickett pays tribute to the iconic Sophie, we've got some great recommendations, and we'll learn about the GLBT History Museum to help us remember our roots!

Welcome back, Queerdos! Today we're talking about EVERYONE'S favorite subject: bathrooms! (Yes, AGAIN.) Today we're telling you about Idaho HB 607, which has now unfortunately passed into law, and makes using the "wrong" bathroom a criminal offense. We discuss the far right's continued obsession with the g*nitals of strangers, potential forms of malicious compliance, and a sprinkle of Mormon fun facts. We'll also chat about the fabulous John Bell, CobrAH, and Laverne Cox! Come join in on the fun, and join us in singing "Speaking words of wisdom, 'Let them Pee!'"

  • Goth Hoochies Love Immigrants
    Apr 15 2026

Hey Queerdos, welcome back!! We're switching it up again, and today we're talking about Idaho Senate Bill 1357, which would prevent immigrant students from obtaining sports scholarships, and preventing immigrant scholarship students from making up too much of a sports team. No, really, we can't make this up. Fortunately, this bill did not pass, but we're here to share thoughts all the same. We're also aware of the issue with the timing of these episodes (apologies to Aunt Tifa and the Golden Girls Drag troupe, we mathed wrong on our release dates!), so keep your eyes peeled for our upcoming switch to weekly episodes! In the meantime, Crickett will tell you about the fabulous Matt Bernstein and his innovative use of makeup for activism, Taylor geeks out over Marco's funhouse, and we've got great resources for our international educators out there!

  • Protect Trans Kids!!
    Apr 1 2026

Welcome back to Queerdaho! Strap in Queerdos, because we attended the Public Hearing (not the "legislative session" as Taylor keeps saying. Her bad!) for Idaho's Pediatric Secretive Transitions Parental Rights Act. Needless to say, we're ANGRY about this direct attack on vulnerable children. We once again want to express that we are not obligated to report ANY disclosures, so we will ALWAYS be a safe space. YOU are LOVED.

This one went a little long as we lay out the details and repercussions of this bill, as well as our experience at the public hearing. We also spotlight the humanitarian work of Katherine short, and the support trans kids can find with the Stonewall Youth. And of course we'll have a couple more bops to add to your playlist.

(Apologies to the Boise Gay Men's Chorus. We are still ironing out our posting schedule, and our math was a little off on the announcement about the concert that actually took place on 3/28. April Fools!! -but really, we are sorry it was late.)

Welcome back, Queerdos! Today we're switching it up again, and we're going to tell you about an Idaho lawmaker that's fighting FOR us! Melissa Wintrow, we see you girl! We've also got some great recommendations for you, some throwback MTV references, and we'll tell you about Add the Words, an organization that continues to fight for trans equality in the law. Crickett will tell you all about the gold medal Olympian Amber Glenn, and Taylor considers writing a fanfic. Who's gonna be an early reader?

  • In case we haven't been clear...FUCK ICE
    Feb 20 2026

Welcome back, Queerdos! In light of the DHS push to oust folks on social media who are critical of I.C.E., we wanted to make sure that we cleared up a few things: fuck ICE, fuck racism, and fuck any piece of shit that's in the Epstein files. In case we haven't been clear! Today, we'll talk a little about the I.C.E. presence in Idaho, as well as a well-earned salute to a brave woman who survived a forever yeet attempt by a border patrol agent. We've got some great reccomendations for you, as well as information on Stand with Minnesota, a collection of resources so we can provide support to our friends on the ground in Minneapolis!
