    Waylon Wyatt chatted with Records In My Life about his album Out Of The Blue, and the records that keep on inspiring the Arkansas singer/songwriter. The young artist has had a big year, from performing at Hyde Park with Zach Bryan and slots alongside Dwight Yoakam and Turnpike Troubadours.


    His Stagecoach debut drew a record crowd for his set time. His debut EP, Til The Sun Goes Down, recorded in his parents’ rec room, earned 225M streams, a gold certification, and positioned him as a leading new voice in the genre. Out Of The Blue is now out via Darkroom Records and the latest single, “Pretty Little Liar,” was produced by Ian Fitchuk (Kacey Musgraves, Maggie Rogers, Jelly Roll).

    British singer-songwriter Billie Marten released her latest album Dog Eared, on July 18th via Fiction Records. The prolific British singer-songwriter headed to New York in the summer of 2024 to record with producer Phil Weinrobe (Adrianne Lenker, Buck Meek, Laura Veirs) at his Sugar Mountain studio, alongside an all-star cast of musicians. Initially called Dive, the band started as Smith's solo recording project. After releasing three singles on Captured Tracks, DIIV released its debut studio album, Oshin, on June 26, 2012. Their second album, Is the Is Are, came out in 2016 after a lengthy and troubled creation. On October 4, 2019, DIIV's third album, Deceiver, was released on Captured Tracks.On May 24, 2024 via Fantasy records.
