Releasing Overthinking

A meditation to step out of the mental loop and return to the present.

Find a quiet position. Let your spine be upright but not rigid.

Close your eyes if that feels safe. Take And breath in… and out.

Thoughts may already be moving: racing, repeating, reaching for answers.
That's okay. Let them be background noise for now.

Bring your focus to the breath as it enters your nose, as it moves down the throat and fills your lungs.

Now feel it leave: effortlessly. That's all you need to do.

Every time the mind jumps in with a worry, a what-if, a should-have…gently return to the breath. No scolding. Just returning.

You are not your thoughts. You are the one noticing them.
Let your thoughts float by like leaves on water. Let the stream carry them.

Rest in this presence beneath the chatter.

Take one final breath. Anchor here.

The world continues, but you are no longer tangled in it.
