  • Before We Take a Break… Thank You
    Jan 6 2026

Before taking a short break, I wanted to pause and say thank you.

Season 1 of Remember When Radio started as a simple idea — sharing stories, memories, and moments that shaped us — and it’s grown into something far more meaningful because of you.

Whether you listened to one episode or all of them, whether you shared it, messaged me, or just listened quietly on a walk or drive — I truly appreciate you.

If you’re looking for something to tide you over during the break, my book Remember When is available on Amazon.

Season 2 returns in March. Until then — thank you for being here.

  • Remember When the Magic of Christmas Changed
    Dec 26 2025

Christmas has a way of revealing who we were… and who we’re becoming.

In this episode, I reflect on how Christmas changes as we move through life — from tearing into presents as kids, to carefully saving the wrapping paper… from counting the seconds until our parents woke up, to realizing how rare that kind of magic can feel as adults.

We talk about sneaking out of our bedrooms at 4am, lying awake waiting for the day to begin, Christmas Eve church and carols, and the quiet realization that none of us really know how many Christmases we have left.

    Things change.
    We change.
And when the magic does show up — even briefly — it matters.

    So don’t waste this one.

  • The Best Gift Ever
    Dec 19 2025

When we were kids, Christmas wasn’t subtle.

You made sure everyone knew what you wanted.
You dragged every adult in your life to the toy store “just to look.” You poured over catalogues with your siblings, memorizing every page and every possibility.

In this episode, I tell the story of the one gift I wanted more than anything — the Lego Black Seas Barracuda — and the long wait that came with it. A story of sibling betrayal, the longest Christmas Eve of my life, and the quiet fear that the thing you wanted most might disappear before Christmas morning.

Along the way, I reflect on what made Christmas feel so magical when we were kids — not just the gifts themselves, but the love and care behind them, and how simple acts by others become memories you cherish for the rest of your life .

This episode is about wanting, waiting, and the people who made Christmas feel larger than life.
