Dave Genn has been in countless bands, was the cornerstone of the greatest hits of the Mathew Good Band from 1995-2001, and a long-time lead with the great Canadian 54-40 from 2003 to present. His best known works, however, are with the coastal band Dead Surf Kiss (DSK), aptly named for the punk, hard rock vibes thrown out from influences by the Dead, Surf music, and some unknown band KISS, that I couldn’t find anything about. This Multiple Juno Award Winner has Contributed a Score for the National Geographic documentary Yukonna in 1998, as well as A 3-time Leo Award Nominee. He’s even Had real storm troopers at his sons’ bday party!The man who personally knows that 0 + 1 = 2, and whether Mathew Good is really an asshole or not…ladies and gentlemen, the Gibson gearhead groover: Dave Genn!
