In this video, we explore the fascinating history of seed patenting and how it has led to the development of genetic engineering. Seed patenting is a legal mechanism that grants exclusive rights to the owner of the patent to sell, use, or produce the patented product. The practice of seed patenting began in the 1930s and has evolved to become a significant factor in modern agriculture. In the first section of this video, we delve into the origins of seed patenting, tracing its history back to the development of hybrid seeds in the early 1900s. We examine the economic and political factors that led to the rise of seed patenting and explore the impact of these patents on the seed industry. In the second section, we discuss the role of seed patenting in the development of genetic engineering. We explore how the ability to patent genetically modified seeds has led to the widespread use of these crops in modern agriculture. We also discuss the controversies surrounding genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and the impact of this technology on the environment and human health.Throughout the video, we highlight key takeaways and interesting facts about the history of seed patenting and genetic engineering. • FDA Authorizes Updated COVID-19 Vaccine for Children as Young as 6 Months Old
    Mar 16 2023
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted emergency authorization to the updated Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine as a booster for children as young as 6 months old, even though Pfizer has produced no clinical efficacy data for any age group.FDA officials on March 14 said the emergency clearance was based on trial data that showed 60 children had “an immune response” after receiving the updated bivalent booster, and trial data that found 60 young children experienced side effects such as fatigue, diarrhea, and vomiting after bivalent vaccination.None of the trial data has been released to the public. The authorization means children aged 6 months to 5 years will be encouraged to get a booster dose just two months after the final dose of a three-dose Pfizer primary series. The bivalent vaccines protected well against symptomatic infection for children aged 5 and older initially, but the protection waned to close to 50 percent after several months, according to federal data. There were no estimates for protection against severe illness.Children are less likely to experience severe COVID-19 and many have already been infected, giving them protection that’s similar to or superior to vaccination.

The incident led to his suspension from two upcoming games, and raised concerns about his behavior and its potential impact on his career. Morant's behavior has been under the microscope since his college days, when he was involved in a physical altercation with a fan during a game. • The Creation of Man and The Perverted Gods of the Bible
    Mar 3 2023

The Eridu Genesis is an ancient Sumerian text that tells the story of the creation of the world and humanity. In this video, we'll explore two key aspects of the Eridu Genesis: Enki's incestuous relationships with his relatives, and the creation of humans with the help of Ninhursag.

Enki, the god of wisdom and water, was notorious for his sexual exploits, including sleeping with his own mother and half-sister. These taboo relationships were seen as a way for Enki to gain knowledge and power, but they also had consequences. In the Eridu Genesis, Enki is punished for his actions by the other gods, and the resulting chaos leads to the creation of humans as a way to ease their burden.

Interestingly, the creation of humans in the Eridu Genesis bears striking similarities to the story of Adam and Eve in the Bible. Both involve a divine figure (Enki/Ninhursag or God) fashioning humans from clay, and both depict the first humans as living in a paradise-like garden before being expelled due to disobedience.

By examining the Eridu Genesis and its parallels with the Bible, we can gain insights into the shared cultural and religious heritage of ancient civilizations, and the ways in which these stories continue to shape our understanding of humanity today

  • The Consequences of Groupthink and Suppression of Ideas
    Feb 28 2023

Groupthink has been used to describe a type of social process that can cause individuals in a group to take risks and think outside of the box. However, it can also be used to control a group and make its members conform to certain beliefs and ideologies, leading to potentially destructive outcomes.

Ideas have always been essential to social and economic progress, but groupthink and censorship can lead to the silencing of some members of society. As conformity increases, free and unique thought becomes a taboo and often members are judged, attacked, or even punished for speaking up and expressing different beliefs. Groupthink and censorship prevent fresh and constructive ideas from being heard, thereby stifling creativity, ingenuity, and diversity in our societies.

This episode will discuss the psychological consequences of groupthink on members in society, such as increased stress and conformity to authority, and how it can result in narrow-mindedness and an unwillingness to question ideas. We will also look at potential strategies for breaking out of groupthink, such as developing an awareness of groupthink and challenging group ideas to create healthy group discussions. By recognizing the power of groupthink and learning how to address it, we can minimize its negative impacts and promote positive change.
