ABOUT THE FROZEN CLAM OBSTAPLUNGE
Ryan McGowan, a former mentor and owner of Laid Back Fitness, shares the history of the Frozen Clam Obstaplunge. Held annually on January 1st, this event challenges participants with natural movement obstacles on the sand, with an optional plunge into the water at the end. It serves as a symbolic representation of overcoming obstacles—much like the youth in the mentoring program do every day. Proceeds from ticket sales and sponsorships go directly towards funding Mentor Rhode Island’s vital programs.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
