    Jun 9 2026

From the US to UK, NYC to LA, from sidewalks to highways; welcome to Part Two of our epic deep dive into Melanie C's "Northern Star" album era. After getting into the album track highlights, 'Goin Down' and 'Northern Star' single on our first part; we now enter the new millennium with one of the most dramatique rollercoaster years for Sporty Spice.

After making a splash in 1999 with her debut solo album, the real fun and action kicks in 2000, when Melanie C scored two back-to-back UK No.1 hits with 'Never Be The Same Again' featuring Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes of TLC and 'I Turn To You'. Where we've had punk and rocky Spice at the start of the campaign; we are now ushering in a pop R&B hit and Ibiza Spice, proving that we've truly not yet seen the last of Melanie C, in the debut album era that keeps giving.

From her first solo headline tour leading up to Spice Girls returning with their third album "Forever", Joel and David revisit the insane year 2000 for Melanie C as she experiences her first flush of big solo success while juggling commitments in Planet Spice.

    Jun 3 2026

Since we've had a prelude to a "Sweat"-y Summer courtesy of Our Melanie C; it would be crazy and utterly 'ga ga' to not celebrate the most successful Solo Spice Girl album of all time: "Northern Star".

Spice, Sporty and Pop fans unite because we are giving you an epic two-parter of Mel's iconique debut solo album, which soared between 1999 and 2001, with a string of global hit singles including two UK No.1s 'Never Be The Same' feat. Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes and 'I Turn To You'.

This zesty Part One high kicks the journey off in 1998 into 1999 as we follow Melanie's brewing solo career; from the neo-industrial punk rage of 'Goin' Down' to the tender and autobiographical 'Northern Star' single and our album highlights, b-sides, live performances, fashion and style moments. Where Spice Girls were on a hiatus; Melanie C was certainly going for gold, writing and recording with a string of established dead edgeh hitmakers behind records for Madonna's "Ray of Light", Björk, Massive Attack and more.

    Apr 20 2026

Pop fans, it's time to loosen up them buttons for a big fun nostalgic trip back to The Pussycat Dolls' world! We are revisiting the iconic 2005 debut album "PCD", which gave us a string of iconic hits, music videos and live performances that remain on high rotation 20+ years on! 'Don't Cha', 'Buttons', 'Beep', 'Stickwitu', 'I Don't Need A Man', 'Wait A Minute' - and more including the soundtrack gems like 'Sway'. We're getting into all of that!

Plus, Joel and David take you into through the birth and evolution of The Pussycat Dolls - from a modern burlesque show conceptualised by Robin Antin in 1995, through to the celebrity guest performers in the early days (Carmen Electra, Christina Applegate, Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani etc) and how they became a full-fledged world dominating pop group.

Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, Carmit Bachar, Jessica Sutta and Melody Thornton were introduced to us as a fun, confident girl gang we all wanted to be part of and aspired to be. From the sexy-meets-street fashion through to the powerful choreography and vocals; they inspired a whole generation of girl groups like KATSEYE and Little Mix. "PCD" featured collaborations with some of the pop R&B world's biggest hitmakers including Timbaland, will.i.am, Cee-Lo Green, Keri Hilson, Diane Warren, Kara Dioguardi, Rich Harrison and more.

The Pussycat Dolls are back on tour this summer across North America before coming to the UK and Europe in Autumn for the "PCD Forever" tour! We can't wait.
