In una scuola sottofinanziata, i ragazzi hanno voglia di leggere, ma la biblioteca langue. Per procurasi nuovi testi, sono costretti a sottrarli illegalmente a malcapitati di vario genere (madri, nonne, prof, amici, biblioteche, ecc..), la prof è la mandante dei furti.

Tutto avviene tra i corridoi di scuola, durante una lunga notte. In ogni episodio si parla di due libri diversi, ma accomunati da un aspetto o un valore, i ladri si raccontano e discutono delle loro lettura.
