Ramston Rodrigues represented India in the IMMAF (International Mixed Martial Arts Federation) World Championship held from January 24-29 this year in Abu Dhabi. He beat international medalist from Czech Republic, Lucas Piffko by knockout. He was a national level swimmer and water polo player. In 2016, he moved to Dubai and started his MMA journey. During the time he has had the opportunity to train with some of the best in the world. Notably, Conor McGregor has referred to him as 'India's next heavyweight champion'. On this episode we learnt about the art of MMA and about a man hell-bent on achieving his dream.
