"They don't look Autistic" is the most common phrase said to me when anyone learns of my twins Diagnosis. Its been used so often, you would think the phrase would no longer impact me, but it does and will probably always will. Being a Special needs parent is a superpower you never knew you had or could have. Be Kind and or atleast open minded when you see a family, parent or child not "acting" appropriate. See beyond the physical, because you truly never know what they are going thru.
