In this episode, Amelia and Louis speak with Jonathan Nobrega, Roehampton graduate and Youth Project Coordinator at the London Wildlife Trust, about engaging young people from underrepresented backgrounds in the sustainability sector.

Jonathan reflects on his journey from studying Environmental Humanities at Roehampton to leading sustainability initiatives as Events and Sustainability Project Coordinator at Southlands College, and how those experiences shaped his path into environmental work. We revisit his presentation at the London Student Sustainability Conference and explore what he has been working on since.

The conversation focuses on the importance of making environmental careers more accessible, building young people’s confidence and connection to nature, and creating opportunities for a wider range of voices in the sustainability sector.
