These days Julia Kirt is known as a politician - the Oklahoma Senate Minority Leader, but her career started in the arts. She worked at a couple of important museums before becoming the first paid director of the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition. From there she moved over to run Oklahomans for the Arts.
