Elon Musk's xAI supercomputer Grok calls Memphis home. The facility, Colossus 1 as it's known, was built in an exhisting Electrolux factory. Colossus 2 is being constructed in Southaven, MS and is part of the massive data center construction boom.
A "gargantuan" data center has been approved in Utah that would encompass a 62 square mile space and would double the state's electricity consumption.
