This week, the guys get together for an important installment of Shotgun Candy as they take a deeper dive into who this man was as a kid, what molded him to be the stone cold closer he was, and whats next for the seemingly indestructible Iron Mike Tyson. 10 episodes in and the boys cannot and will not slow down. This Sunday brings talk of a guy who is quite polarizing, Tekashi 6ix9ine. Is he a talented rapper that has the pulse of social media under thumb? They are NOT so sure about that. Perhaps he is a gangster involved with a group of dangerous “Bloods” doing his dirty work while he trolls literally EVERYONE? Within this episode lies a roadmap of who he was as a kid, how he came up and instantly became a source of vitriol and scorn, and what lies ahead with various legal issues that could throw a monkey wrench in the whole damn thing. Face tattoos, rainbow hair, and a whole lotta IDGAF. Galaxy brain troll or at the right place at the right time? This was a tough one and the boys are grateful you could stop by for the show. The boys like to think they are quite fearless when it comes to examining topics. Not too much is off limits when it comes to exploring, however this episode takes a visual toll on them as they discover the life and times of Vlad the Impaler. You may know him by his more mythical name: Dracula. Thats right, the very man that Bram Stoker based his novel on. A man so brutal and sadistic that at one point in the show the boys struggle to even verbalize the carnage. Known as one of the most bloodthirsty monsters to ever wage war, one can hardly grasp that Vlad III was just a child once. He was left as a hostage to the Ottoman’s, a fierce and vast army that posed a threat to all of Europe. The man that returned from those foreign lands was very different person. Now a sharp killing machine that would leave literal forests of impaled soldiers for his enemies to behold. He was willing to do anything necessary to reclaim the throne of Walachia (the region that is known is Transylvania) and retake his birtright. The boys are back at it with a KILLER topic for the live audience on Fireside, and Ep. 09 is off to a fast start. They may have a last minute change on the team too.
