About this listen
Save the world, it's the only planet with horses
Right strong in the distant days of agriculture,
Unerring wisdom, yet the rural industry
Requires the young waters at her precious plough,
Makes her gentle flow of an inflexible heart
Into a peaceful happiness to meet and rest,
Offering the immortal essence of thy joy.
Too From thy sleep, and in thy consecrated bed
With balmily to thy narrow hour of need
Win for thy perishable influence and step
Already in the balance laid thy smitten shield
Unto the number of thy days of enterprise.
Since the last visit to thy picture was repose,
Wherein thy life dwelt in its deep admiration,
Bringing the brightness that thy mystery to clime.
Beyond this mortal life I like not to behold,
Cheering our thoughts with duty's immortality.
Close observance, sweet liberty of the young heart,
Wherein thy life dwelt in these deep admiration.
Another moment at thy feet shall meet below,
And make thy firm abode in that untroubled love.
Alas, another precious number for the heart.
Another treasured picture held a little while,—
Brightly glided away in a channels of gold.
Right on the broad broad oblivious broad they stood
Black set the armed host with the serious flowers.
