Ciaran Cahill is a lifelong resident of Ballymurphy, he is steeped in a history of community development along with his parents Frank & Tess Cahill who were also involved in many community initiatives aimed at improving the lives of residents in the Upper Springfield area.

Ciaran is the co-ordinator of Springhill Community House, a project started by Fr Des Wilson, which delivers programmes in education, training and health awareness and he is also the chairperson of Conway Education Centre, the largest community education provider in West Belfast.

Conor Loughlin grew up on the Springfield Road in West Belfast. He is a youth and community worker at Clonard Youth Club and is currently completing a Youth Work degree at the University of Ulster. 

Conor embarked on a personal weight loss journey over the past year and has lost over 100lbs so far. In this conversation Conor tells us of the impact his weight had on him when he was younger, how he got on the path to a healthier lifestyle and why he wants to use his story to inspire and support others.
