  • Witness on the Stand
    Jan 29 2026

Today, we’re looking at a witness. Not in a TV drama, but in the courtroom of history. This witness is here to testify to the Truth—to point us to the Light.

John 1:6-13 (ESV)- There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him. He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light. The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

  • Light in the Darkness- John 1:1-5
    Jan 22 2026

The Gospel of John starts with that kind of "The time has finally come" energy. But John doesn't start with a stable in Bethlehem or a list of ancestors. He starts with a prologue that is unlike anything else in the Bible. He dives in headfirst.

    John 1:1–5 (ESV):

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."

  • The Tragedy of Silence: When Faith Skips a Generation
    Jan 16 2026

In today's episode, we reach the end of the Book of Judges. I’m going to be honest with you: for me, this is the hardest and saddest part of the Bible to read. If Judges 1 through 16 were a downward spiral, Chapters 17 through 21 are the crash and burn.

These final chapters function as an appendix. They aren't necessarily chronological; they are snapshots of what life looked like during this era. They describe a society in total freefall—religiously, morally, and socially.
