In this episode, we are joined by Randy Pausina, a well-respected marine biologist with over 23 years of experience working for the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. During his time there, Randy worked his way up to Assistant Secretary of Fisheries and was instrumental in making positive changes to Louisiana's and the Gulf of Mexico's fishery.

    In addition to his work with the department, Randy is also the director of TAG Louisiana, a sport fish tag and recapture program that aims to employ and educate recreation anglers. Currently, Randy serves as the St. Tammany Parish Coastal Environmental Protection and Restoration Manager, where he continues to work towards protecting and preserving the state's marine resources.
