Trigger Warning: Mention of Violence, Abuse
As unfortunate as it is, in most religious spaces queer people are often subject to discrimination, attacks on their identity and even abuse in some cases. The Indian Muslim community is not exception to this and while the concept of a queer muslim person is still hard for many to wrap their head around. It is essential to address the issues within the community to provide a safe space for people subject to such discrimination.
In this episode, we have a brief discussion on being queer as an Indian Muslim with our guest who prefers to remain anonymous. Kindly respect the privacy of the person who has shared personal experiences.
