Jeff Sharlet’s books investigate the political power of group called “The Family or “The Fellowship”, a secretive fundamentalist Christian association led by Douglas Coe. Sharlet said that the organization fetishizes power by comparing Jesus to "Lenin, Ho Chi Minh, Bin Laden" as examples of leaders who change the world through the strength of the covenants they had forged with their brothers. “The Family” follows the “authority” of the ones leading the movement.

Tonight's show is about the senate's finance committee's quest to find the truth about the financial backers to Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking ring. Last year the Biden administration allowed the finance committee to review portions of the Epstein files, which showed 4,725 wire transfers to one of Epstein's bank accounts. Many more transfers were made adding up to nearly $1.1 billion flowing in and out of Epstein’s bank accounts in Russia. Senator Wyden lists 72 names of individuals or companies of interests attached to wire transfers https://www.finance.senate.gov/ranking-members-news/new-wyden-bill-would-force-treasury-to-turn-over-epstein-files. I exam why is it taking so long to prosecute sex offenders. Political parties shouldn't matter. Wrong is wrong.
