    Dark Whispers in the Night is the second book in K. J. North's trilogy about human trafficking and private investigators Belle and Jackson Avery determination to stop it. The first was "Throw Away Girls" which I also narrate.

    I'm a fan of K.J. North's ability to write stories about human trafficking with enough plausibility to inspire fear, but without the graphic details. She also stresses the importance of family and friends in good and bad times.
