Ginny met with Sharon Flynn and kicked the elephant in the room into the center of their attention with compliments about Sharon’s flaming red hair followed by a torpedo questioin from Sharon to Ginny, asking if her beautiful turquoise eyes we’re from her father or her mother? And so they began unraveling their connections. They quickly agreed to meet at the Rehab Center and talk about how to break this all to Dan.

Shortly after Ginny and Dan’s wedding, the call came to Ginny from Sharon Flynn inviting them to dinner at the Queens Pub the following Saturday. Ginny intuitively knew that Sharon knew she was her daughter and while Ginny was relieved, she was also anxious to meet her and concerned how this fact would affect Dan's sobriety.

As the three month rehab period for Dan is ending, Ginny and Dan begin to plan for their future. Their wedding in August and the invitation list brings a staggering realization to Ginny about her roots whereupon Ireland may truly become Ginny’s mother land too.

Ginny sets their plan in motion and finds herself on her way to Ireland to meet Dan. At the airport in Dublin Dan proposes and Will, his nephew, gets Ginny’s suitcase and off they go to their new life in Dalkey, a beautiful sea town outside of Dublin. Adjustments are required and now there is a wedding in the offing. Hang on, Ginny, we’re right there with you.

Dan proves to Ginny that he’s serious about changing and invites her to Ireland to help him on his journey to sobriety. Ginny tries to take his offer seriously while sorting through her raging emotions.
