About this listen

I'm a skier, among other things...but mostly a skier. This podcast is about connecting with people. Societal norms have us wanting more for less and I believe that, in most cases, less is more.

This ultra-connected modern world is ironically disconnected. Sifting through the muck of social media - it's more than possible to have genuine interactions if you're patient, humble and open-minded. Just don't get stuck in the sludge that is virtue-signalling, Karen-ing, and instigating.

I try to stick to the basics: find common ground and elaborate :)

  • Ep. 2 Myles Lockhart (childhood bestfriend)
    Jul 10 2024

Myles is one in a million. Currently living in Australia, Myles is a mega-chill dude that tends to bring out the best in people. I feel super lucky to have him as a friend and can't wait to see him in person again!

In this episode we catch up on life and reminisce on old times. We also touch on how messed up western medicine is. Right at the end I get to meet his employees. Myles owns a successful arborist business on the east coast of Australia and is working out a deal to sell the business and go to Traditional Chinese Medicine school...classic Myles move :)

Jump into a phone conversation between Daniel Meece (@skierdan_ @skicreative) and myself.

This dude is one of the realest I've met (haven't met in person yet) he called me up out of the blue on Instagram messenger and we ended up talking for 3+ hours about all sorts of shit, including Sam Brown, a legend from Crawford Bay/Nelson area that you have to look up. Hollywood is going to make a movie about his life.

This podcast is actually the 2nd phone call that I started recording like 20 minutes in 'cause I'm a dumbass, sometimes.
