  • VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS 4 LOS ANGELES KINGS 1 (27-16-14, 68 PTS)
    Feb 6 2026

Recap: The Golden Knights were looking to go into the Olympic break on a winning streak by beating the incoming LA Kings. Team USA’s Jack Eichel opened the scoring early in the opening period with his 21st goal this season. Team Canada’s Mark Stone followed up with his 21st goal as well. Pavel Dorofeyev continued the scoring surge on the power play and Team Canada’s Mitch Marner scored seconds later. LA recorded a goal with under five minutes left in the opening 20 minutes.

Each team traded chances in the middle frame but neither team found the back of the net. After 40 minutes, the Golden Knights held a 4-1 advantage.

The game slowed down in the final 20 minutes with neither team scoring another goal.

The Golden Knights record improves to 27-16-14 defeating the Kings 4-1 at T-Mobile Arena.

Vegas and the rest of the NHL will pause play for the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Games. The Golden Knights will return to action on February 25th in Los Angeles. Puck drop against the Kings is scheduled for 7 PM. (Recap by Jason)

Analysis: A five-minute spurt of dominance carried the day for the Golden Knights in the final game before the break. Was nice to see VGK have the early flurry rather than giving it up. Hill had a really nice middle period which erased a below average defensive period, but overall the Golden Knights did what they needed to make the big early lead stick. (Analysis by Ken)

That was Adin Hill's best period in the net since he's returned from the injury.

4 goals on 6 shots for VGK to open this game!

Cancel the Olympic break please, this team needs more games.

  • SEATTLE KRAKEN 3 VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS 2 (25-15-14, 64 PTS)
    Feb 1 2026

Recap: The Golden Knights were hoping to bounce back at home with a victory over the Seattle Kraken. Seattle struck first and later added a second goal later in the opening period. After 20 minutes the visitors held a 2-0 advantage.

Ivan Barbashev cut the Kraken’s lead in half off a nice feed from Jack Eichel. With time winding down in the frame, Mitch Marner tied the game with his 14th goal of the season.

Seattle quickly scored into the 3rd period to take a 3-2 edge. Vegas failed to the game in the third and lost the Kraken by one.

The Golden Knights’ record drops to 25-15-14 falling to the Kraken 3-2 at T-Mobile Arena. Next up, Vegas will travel to Anaheim tomorrow for a one-game road trip. Puck drop against the Ducks is scheduled for 6:30 PM. (Recap by Jason)

Analysis: Another game, another early deficit, another recovery. This time it happened earlier than normal though and into 2nd intermission it was already tied. Like clockwork, this year’s VGK have struggled to take hold of games that are even. They allowed a 3rd period goal and then the push was too little too late, even though it looked good once again. Falling behind is costly over large samples and that price came due tonight. (Analysis by Ken)

Cassidy took Stone off Eichel's line and #9 decided, alright, I'll do it all myself.

He's been awesome in the 2nd.

Bad news: Kraken have taken the lead

Good news: VGK are allowed to be good again, as they are now losing

    — SinBin.vegas (@SinBinVegas) February 1, 2026

Frustrated crowd at T-Mobile Arena. VGK down by 2 and content to run out the last 10 seconds of the period.
