    Enjoy - https://www.brother-g.org - Nondual contemplation with Brother G.

This episode of Sitting with the Earth is dedicated to my sister Ivy Ross (https://www.ivyarts.org/projects ). Today is her birthday.

In this episode, we explore the profound freedom of not having to "pick and choose" the conditions of our happiness. We discuss how to hold pain, disappointment, and the "untoward" events of life within a "larger, spacious faith" rather than letting them define our peace.

I share a legendary story about jazz pianist Thelonious Monk and a pitcher of "rancid" orange juice. Just as a musician can take a flat note or a sour moment and turn it into beautiful music, we have the capacity to turn any situation into a miracle. Even when life feels difficult or "situationally rancid," the ground beneath us remains fertile.

Join me for a reflection on surrender, resilience, and finding the music in the mess.

    Key Themes:

    • Non-duality and acceptance

    • Thelonious Monk story

    • Turning difficulty into miracles

    • Finding peace in "rancid" situations

  • E12: Beyond Conditioning: From Awakening to Embodied Freedom (with Luchana & Lubo)
    Nov 14 2025

Join Brother G on Sitting With The Earth (http://www.SWTE.one) for a deep and vulnerable conversation with Luchana and Lubo (https://awakeningawakened.com/), passionate guides in the realms of non-duality, spiritual awakening, and "rediscovering our wholeness".

Luchana and Lubo share their journey beyond initial realization—which they say is "only the beginning"—and into the essential practice of "full embodied freedom". They discuss their 30-day online event, "Beyond Conditioning", a journey designed to free us from the inner burdens of shame, fear, and limiting beliefs.

    In this episode, we explore:

The 30-Day Awakening Journey: What it means to move from intellectual ideas to a lived, embodied experience.

The "Burden of Effort": Unpacking the core belief that we must "make efforts" to be worthy of connection, appreciation, or love.

The "Juiciness" of Shadow Work: Why embracing the shadow is key to "wholeness" and accessing your full "nuclear engine of power, enjoyment, expression, and creativity".

A Live Exploration: The host, Brother G, shares his own anxiety about the podcast, leading to a beautiful, in-the-moment demonstration of meeting fear with vulnerability and presence.

Vulnerability as Courage: Discovering how intimacy and vulnerability are the "highest form of courage" on the spiritual path.

ABOUT LUCHANA & LUBO: Luchana and Lubo guide people worldwide to move beyond realization into full, embodied freedom. They are the creators of the "Beyond Conditioning" 30-day awakening journey (https://awakeningawakened.com/2025/09/30/beyond-conditioning-a-30-day-awakening-journey/) and the immersive "Come and Live With Us" retreats (https://awakeningawakened.com/2022/10/26/living-in-nonduality/).

  • E11: You Don't Need to Fight So Hard: Letting Go of the Personal Will
    Oct 22 2025

Enjoy - http://www.SWTE.one - Nondual contemplation with Brother G. Welcome to Sitting with the Earth. This episode offers a powerful reflection on radical acceptance, mindfulness, and the nature of personal will. Explore what it means to live in "the place where nothing is undone, where everything is just as it is", learning to welcome all experiences—from fear and difficulty to joy and pleasure.

This session focuses on the practice of observing and surrendering the ego. Drawing on a paraphrase from Chuck C, we investigate how to discern our "personal will"—the desires that create ego satisfaction—and understand how feeding the ego can increase suffering. The central invitation is to "surrender the ego repeatedly", finding peace by fighting reality less. This meditation concludes with a comforting reassurance: "You are loved" and "You don't need to fight so hard."
