  • What Does It Mean When You Find Money on the Ground?
    Feb 16 2026

Have you ever been walking down the street, minding your own business, and suddenly you spot a coin or maybe even a bill just lying there on the ground?

You look around. No one seems to be claiming it. And for a second, it feels… kind of special.

But then the question hits you.

Is this just random luck? Or does finding money on the floor actually mean something?

  • The meaning of BASE
    Jan 27 2026

Alright, so let’s talk about slang for a second — because online language is getting weird… fast.

If you spend any time on social media, you’ve probably seen words pop up that everyone seems to understand except you. One day they’re nowhere, the next day they’re everywhere. And nobody really stops to explain what they mean — you’re just expected to know.
A lot of internet slang doesn’t come from one place. It usually starts in smaller communities, like gaming, music, or certain corners of social media, and then it slowly spreads. As more people use the word, the meaning can shift a bit, or even change completely depending on context.

A really good example of that is the word “based.”
If you’ve seen someone comment “based” under a post, it’s usually a form of approval. It’s basically a way of saying, “I agree with that,” or “that was a bold take and I respect it.” It’s often used when someone says something confidently without worrying about whether everyone else agrees.

But this is where it gets confusing — because “based” doesn’t always mean the same thing everywhere. Sometimes it’s used seriously, sometimes sarcastically, and sometimes almost as a joke. If you don’t understand the context, it can be hard to tell what the person actually meant.

That’s why slang like this can trip people up. You can’t always just translate it literally. You kind of have to understand how people are using it in real conversations.

And honestly, this stuff matters more than people think. Misunderstanding slang can change how you read a comment or how you interpret someone’s tone. What looks like praise to one person might sound strange or even rude to someone else.

If you’re ever unsure about a slang term — especially one you keep seeing pop up — it’s usually worth looking it up properly instead of guessing. I’ll leave a full explanation of what “based” means, how it’s used, and some real examples in the show notes if you want to dig deeper.

Internet language keeps evolving, and there’s no sign of it slowing down. The best way to keep up is just staying curious and not being afraid to ask, “Wait… what does that actually mean?”
