• Volume 3: Lias Saoudi, Opus Kink, Skydaddy & more
    Jul 3 2026

This is a live recording from 3/11/2025.

In November 2025 we gathered at The Social in collaboration with White Rabbit Books to hear band members read their creative writing aloud. We heard artists read poetry, prose, journal musings and dream recollections. This writing exists separate to the artists’ musical output; some of it had never been shared before. We recorded it all. You can hear it here.

We were joined by Lee Brackstone (WRB) in conversation with Lias Saoudi (Fat White Family, The Moonlandingz, author of Ten Thousand Apologies: Fat White Family and The Miracle of Failure). They discussed creative process, fatherhood, whether writing is a benevolent act, and Lias' current work. Lias read an excerpt of his new book Tears of the Patriarch, soon to be announced for publication by White Rabbit Books in February 2027. You heard it here first.

  • Volume 1: English Teacher, David Keenan, Bug Teeth & More
    Sep 7 2025

This is a live recording from 19/06/2025

In June we hosted a literary salon at Wax Bar. I invited band members to read their creative writing aloud, to a crowded room. They read poetry and prose that had not made that journey from scribblings to lyrics, writing that occupies a different space entirely. Some of it was lovely, some of it was sickening. We recorded it all. You can hear it here. We were joined by author David Keenan (This Is Memorial Device, England’s Hidden Reverse), who spoke with Lee Brackstone (White Rabbit Books) about his writing, music and the publishing process.

    Featuring:

David Keenan in conversation with Lee Brackstone (White Rabbit Books) [3.30]

Ben Parry (Fuzz Lightyear, Shaene, The Oidz) [36.15]

Kurtis Brade (Prima Star Power) [42.52]

    Jack Grant (The 113) [52.03]

    PJ Johnson (Bug Teeth) [56.11]

Lily Fontaine (English Teacher) [1hr 17.55]
