Tara Lee continues to share her story & her healing journey. The imprint of a toxic parent has had a lasting effect into adult life. In this episode, the discovery of a sex offender in the family results in personal values being tested & ultimately sees the family divided in the worst way. Tara's mother realises that she needs to let go of a toxic child relationship. Sadly, this jeopardises the relationship with one of her granddaughters, who is caught in the middle.

A family wedding brings some moments of joy at a time when relationships are fracturing. The day was marred by two small words. Tara's forgiving heart is waning when it comes to her father.

The onset of the pandemic made stress levels at work increase. This coupled with the stresses of family life becomes overwhelming. At a point of burnout & dysfunction, Tara makes the choice to take some time out from the world to recover. Here past traumas are linked to current day behaviours, so that the recovery & healing can begin.

These years are a time of growth as focus turns to her own family, career & financial freedom. All of hard work is starting to pay off. Her father still manages to cast a shadow at times of joy & achievement.
