John and Phyllis Simonetta didn't arrive at their calling quickly or easily. John spent three decades in corporate finance. Phyllis wove her way through counseling, teaching, and healing arts. In 2012, a personal crisis became the turning point that launched both of them into a deep journey of awakening — navigating parenthood, financial fear, job loss, anxiety and depression, spiritual emergence, and ultimately a guided move to Asheville, North Carolina, where they now live and do their work. They lead sacred couples retreats that restore union through ancestral healing, somatic movement, nature, and the living transmission of their own transformed partnership. Their story is one of two ordinary people who kept saying yes to the soul's call — even when it asked them to let go of everything familiar.
