  • Chp. 5 : The Color Of Fate | Faded Blue Fate
    May 4 2024

    A poem about falling apart...

The first poem in my 3rd poetry collection from the COLORED AFTER PARTY poetry collection series, is a poem that I wrote from the perspective of a woman who had her engagement called off by her fiancé. The regret of losing the life she once imagined and the sadness of the blue fate taking over her, this poem is about that one nonchalant mistake.

  • Chp. 4 : Tainted Papers | Our Violet Walls
    Apr 25 2024

There is a thing about reputation.

It precedes the truth. And that is fatal.

In this poem titled 'Tainted Papers', I use this metaphorical idea to compare 'Reputations' with 'Papers' and paint a picture of it is so poetically unsettling for me to think about this whole situation in a certain way.

  • Chp. 3 : Starry Feelings | The Broken Instrument
    Apr 18 2024

I write poems to understand my feelings in a better way and I thought it would be truly amazing to share a poem with you that I wrote a night before I confessed to my crush back when I was 17.

He rejected me and yes, that was embarrassing... but the poem that I wrote to help myself make sense of the butterflies in my stomach that night, stuck with me as a beautiful memory I would cherish for my entire life.

P.s : The concept of the poem was the idea having folded a 1000 paper stars in a container that I could open on a new year's day watching sunrise with my lover. I wish I could try it out some day.

  • Chp. 2 : On The Roadside Wall | Our Violet Walls
    Apr 11 2024

Some friendships wither with time and all they leave behind is the skeleton of the memories that made the friendships so valuable and memorable.

This poem is about one such friendship I had but was unfortunate enough to lose it.

It is titled 'On The Roadside Wall'. It is about the memory I have where me and my friend painted a roadside wall with a graffiti art of an owl.

Hope you enjoy this poem about summer breaks and broken friendships.
