    Jan 20 2026

Sovereign Souls – Podcast Summary (Episode with Lynn Golubowski)

In this episode of Sovereign Souls (sponsored by the Spirit Release Academy), hosts Jonno Webster and Andy Porter welcome Lynn Golubowski a long-time meetings and hotel contracts professional turned Spirit Release Academy certified facilitator.

Lynn shares how she began her career in hospitality as a teenager, later earning a degree in hotel and restaurant management and building decades of experience in hotel sales and global contract negotiation. In 1995, she launched her own meeting planning business and eventually moved into a niche role negotiating hotel contracts with the support and buying power of a larger organisation.

A major turning point came in 2020, when the meetings industry came to a halt. Amid the chaos of postponements and cancellations, Lynn entered what she describes as a “dark night of the soul,” prompting deep reflection on life purpose. She immersed herself in spiritual learning, exploring the Akashic Records, meditation, oracle cards, astrology, energy healing, and more, until she realised the real shift required was integration and turning inward, not constantly seeking external answers.

Lynn reflects on early intuitive experiences from childhood and how intuition quietly supported her business success—especially in sensing gaps, reading between the lines, and navigating high-level negotiations. Over the last five years, she’s recognised how an emotionally restrained upbringing shaped her “structured, matter-of-fact” approach to life and work, and how spiritual practices have helped her become more heart-centred, softened, and grounded.

The conversation explores how Lynn now blends spiritual tools into the corporate world highlighting how frequent travel and high-stress environments can leave energetic residue, and how protective routines and clearings can help people maintain clarity and stamina. She describes Spirit-Guided Remote Spirit Release as life-changing, sharing examples of clients reporting major shifts such as relationship breakthroughs immediately following clearings.

Lynn also discusses challenges: staying in her own vibration around others, not slipping into old habits, and accepting that not everyone is ready for this work. A humorous but powerful “golf story” becomes a key teaching moment—when she realises self-consciousness was restricting her performance, and that freedom comes from releasing the fear of judgement.

She also praises the Academy’s training approach, noting that the lack of a “manual” forces true understanding and embodiment through the portfolio process.

To Lynn, sovereignty means showing up without outside interference mentally, emotionally, and physically living in presence, flow, and self-responsibility. She closes with a message of empowerment: the journey begins within, synchronicities guide the way, and the power to change is always inside you.

Lynn can be found at https://onechoiceatatime.com, on LinkedIn, and via the Spirit Release Academy practitioner directory.

  • Ep4 - Robert Faulkner - Healing and Trauma
    Dec 29 2025

Season 2 - Episode 4 of the Sovereign Souls podcast is now live.

Spirits Are Real: "Robert Faulkner on Healing Trauma & Possession".

In this eye-opening episode, Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist and author Robert Faulkner joins Andy Porter and Jonno Webster to explore one of the most controversial questions in mental health:

What if some of the voices people hear aren’t psychological at all, but spiritual?

Robert shares his extraordinary personal journey through severe childhood trauma, which led him into decades of therapeutic work with clients facing the darkest corners of human suffering. Through his practice, he discovered a crucial limitation in conventional therapy: some “parts” clients struggled with were not internal fragments of the psyche, but external entities, destructive energies that resisted healing.

Blending IFS with compassionate Spirit Release, Robert explains how he helps clients identify these attachments, release them safely, and reclaim control of their inner world. He discusses global cultural perspectives on possession, challenges the Western psychiatric model, and highlights the urgent need for an integrative approach to trauma, psychosis, and spiritual interference.

This conversation is raw, groundbreaking, and deeply human, a call to rethink mental health, honour spiritual reality, and build a new healing model that embraces both psychology and spirit.

In this episode, Jonno and Andy share:

    • Robert's Journey: Raised in a severely traumatic home: physical and sexual abuse, parental alcoholism, brother’s suicide, father’s murder.
    • IFS & Spirit Possession: IFS (Internal Family Systems) sees the mind as made of “parts”; most are well-intentioned, even if dysfunctional.
    • Key Practices: Emphasises gentle inquiry: asking inner critics, “Are you a part of me?” Most entities can’t lie in response.
    • Global Perspective: Notes that Western cultures (especially the U.S. and U.K.) are the most resistant to acknowledging spiritual causes of suffering.
    • Critique of Psychiatry: Challenges mainstream psychiatry for dismissing spiritual realities and over-relying on brain-damaging long-term meds.
    • Call to Action: Urges the world to acknowledge that “spirits are real” and many mental health challenges stem from spiritual interference.

Join Andy Porter and Jonno Webster as they explore how external entities influence trauma and inner voices, and why integrating psychology with spirit release could revolutionise healing.

We can’t wait for you to hear it.
