Sie hatte vorher absolut nichts mit Hospitality am Hut.

Keinen Business-Plan, der auf maximale Rendite optimiert war.

Als sie dieses Haus das erste Mal besichtigt hat, wusste sie: Das ist es!

Sie hatte eine glasklare Vision.

Nicht, weil sie durchgerechnet hat, wie viel Geld man damit verdienen kann.

Sondern weil sie gespürt hat, wie sich Menschen hier fühlen sollen.

Sicher.

Willkommen.

Zu Hause.

Und genau das ist Space Shifting! .

Nicht: Wie kriege ich hier am meisten Kohle raus?

Sondern: Wie sollen sich Menschen hier fühlen?

Drei Jahre Prozess bis zur Eröffnung.

Zweifel. Baustellen. Hürden.

Aber dieses „Richtig Gefühl“ ist nicht weggegangen.

Wir sprechen darüber, was in diesen vier Wänden passiert.

Warum Menschen hier weicher werden.

Warum sie sich gehalten fühlen.

Über die Liebe in den Wänden.

Über Support während einer Workation.

Über Community, die nicht konstruiert ist, sondern organisch.

Und das Schönste:

Tara sagt selbst, dass diese Workation für sie diesmal total recharging war.

Dass sie elektrisiert nach Hause geht.

Dass auch sie durch diese Community bereichert wurde.

A house that today attracts people from all over the world.

A place for retreats, workations, connection.

And the fascinating part:

It all started during Tara’s first visit to Portugal.

She had absolutely nothing to do with hospitality before.

No business plan optimized for maximum profit.

When she visited this house for the first time, she knew: This is it!

She had a crystal-clear vision.

Not because she calculated how much money it could make.

But because she felt how people should feel here.

Safe.

Welcome.

At home.

And that is exactly Space Shifting.

Not: How do I make the most money out of this?

But: How should people feel here?

Three years of process until the opening.

Doubts. Construction sites. Obstacles.

But that “right feeling” never went away.

We talk about what happens within these four walls.

Why people become softer here.

Why they feel held.

About the love in the walls.

About support during a workation.

About community that is not constructed, but organic.

And the most beautiful part:

This episode is a very special one.

Its a podcast conversation with Mandy Fabian, screenwriter and filmmaker, whom I met on workation.

What fascinated me immediately is her story:

After 23 years of living in Los Angeles, Mandy decided – three years ago – to move to London.

Not because of a new job.

Not because of a new relationship.

But simply because it felt right.

She speaks about what it really means to follow a deep inner knowing, even when life looks “settled” from the outside.

About moving countries with a partner, children and dogs. About moving again and again once arriving.

And about not losing trust in the decision, even when the process was anything but linear.

Mandy says herself: she was happy in L.A.

But in London, she feels closer to her true core. More complete.

Immer wieder die Erkenntnis, wie unfassbar viel es verändert, wenn du von Menschen umgeben bist, die dir wohlgesonnen sind.

Ich spreche darüber, warum eine „Workation“ wie diese für mich so unglablich heilsam ist –

nicht, weil es fancy ist oder nach digital nomadischer Freiheit aussieht, sondern weil mein Nervensystem hier endlich ankommen kann.

Es geht um Räume, die nicht pushen, sondern einfach „halten“.

Um ein surrounding aus Menschen, die in ähnlichen Phasen stecken, inspirieren, spiegeln.

Über Perspektivwechsel, die nicht aus dem Kopf kommen, sondern aus dem Erleben von Miteinander.

Ein Space Shift, der nichts mit Tapeten zu tun hat – und alles mit Umgebung, Energie und Unterstützung.💫
