Why is celebration considered a spiritual discipline?

The fact that we're told to celebrate and remember in the Bible tells us that it is something that we might have to work at. Remembering and celebrating God's faithfulness is a spiritual discipline that can happen both corporately and individually.

Study might not be the first thing that comes to mind for a spiritual discipline. The reason why we study Scripture is to know God better and to become more like Christ. 

2 Timothy 3:16 says:

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.
