For our last episode of the season, we are navigating the power of prayer and what that entails. Prayer isn't simply speaking to God to get something you want or to go to Him when something isn't going your way. Prayer is a space of intimacy where we communicate with the Living God. Although we seek His wisdom, strength, and deliverance as we need it, we come to realize we pray simply because of who God is and not what He does for us. Some questions to leave you with to reflect on and measure your prayer life:
Am I praying because that is what I was told to do or am I praying to diligently seek God and get to know Him?
Have I put God in a box where my perception is limited and I am seeing Him from my ability and not His ability?
Do I have appointments with God throughout the day or have I squeezed in prayer for my schedule's sake?
Do I only pray when I'm in trouble or am I positioning myself to pray no matter the circumstance knowing God is bigger than whatever I may be facing?
