Candid conversations with conscious and spiritual solopreneurs who are on a mission to help the world.

Here is where we talk about all things spiritual, business, how the two mesh together, and anything else that comes up.

As a solopreneur myself, I wrestle with what seems like a disconnect at times between myself as a spiritual being, and making a living down here on chaotic Earth. I wonder how others manage to thrive while straddling the spiritual and material planes.

I speak to spiritual mentors, marketers, coaches and communicators. Join me as we unveil a spiritual solopreneur's thoughts about business, life, and beyond.

  • When Desire Feels Wrong: Reclaiming Creativity, Healing & Your Divine Calling – with Meg Calvin
    Jun 15 2026

Today, my guest for a return visit is Meg Calvin. Meg is a former minister, writing and marketing coach, and author who believes books are a healing modality. With twenty plus years of experience in emotional health and spiritual formation, her debut novel and an and online community, The Treasure Within, help women reconnect with their bodies, reclaim their intuition, and lead from wholeness instead of obligation.

It was such a pleasure chatting to Meg, particularly about her newly published book, “There He Holds Her”.

It’s a generational novel about a pastor, her family, and the dynamics within the church and her ancestry. It’s also an old-fashioned romance written as a “PG-13” Christian romance.

Partly autobiographical, "There He Holds Her" was inspired by Meg's desire to combine spiritual nonfiction and traditional romance fiction, while also drawing from her own reunion with herbiological father and spiritual awakening.

Meg put it best: "The book is very spiritual and mystical and metaphysical, but it's also sensual as well and explores the themes like sexuality and spiritual authority, generational trauma, and the courage it takes to reclaim a stolen life."

Meg says, “Desire is God knocking on your heart.” Will you listen and answer the call?

Meg has created an online coaching community that uses the book as a launching point for discussions within the group.

"There He Holds Her " is available on Amazon, and you can contact Meg at megcalvin.com.

  • From Burnout to Burning Bright - A Healing Journey
    May 18 2026

My guest is Scott Holmes, quantum healing practitioner, transformational coach, and Amazon best selling author whose work bridges science, spirit, and the human heart.

Scott discovered Reiki after a long caregiving journey, using self-Reiki and yoga to feel and process long-suppressed emotions and reconnect with his body. He was led to explore other tools as well as next steps in his own evolution, which soon became an avenue for helping others.

Rather than sparking a desire to vacation on the beach (as my thought would be!), his caregiving experience actually ignited a desire to help more people using the modalities he was inspired to learn.

Scott believes brief daily rituals are the key to emotional grounding. Intentional practices like Reiki, meditation, box breathing, or other therapies he offers in his practice, can offer that one shift in perception – a click – as the key turns to set you on a day rooted in grounding and a calm nervous system.

Scott’s book “From Burnout to Burning Bright” chronicles his story and offers encouragement to those suffering from stress, nighttime wakefulness, or even caregivers who struggle to receive support. The book is available on Amazon.

You can also reach Scott through his website rscottholmes.com

  • Human Design for transitions, decisions, and everyday living - with Kelly Myerson
    May 18 2026

Some of us have trouble making decisions, or at least seem to need an inordinate amount of processing time to do so. And by some of us, I mean me.

But after my discussion with Kelly Myerson today on the practical applications of Human Design, I feel there is hope for me yet! My Human Design chart (and yours, too of course) offers a mountain of information about our make-up, our proclivities, our energy and ways of coping and living day to day.

Being able to consult our chart from time to time allows us to see the bigger picture - what is it about ourselves innately that is contributing to the current situation, and what are the pathways through it? How do we typically express frustration? Is that what’s happening now? Are we the type of person who even gets frustrated? Maybe we just go straight to fear.

Knowing these things strikes me as a kind of guidance that is hard to come by, as it’s coming from our own soul blueprint.

Kelly employs other spiritual tools as well including astrological charts and Tarot readings. She is also an empath and lightworker, and we talked about the state of the world and the spiritual entrepreneur’s role in raising the collective vibration. (Hint: Yes, it’s happening):-)
