  • Adulting with ADHD: obvious epiphany/learning to thrive.
    Nov 22 2024

Hey guys, welcome back to the pod. I know I’m a little late getting this episode out, but I have a bunch of stuff to do over the weekend and into the week so better late than never wouldn’t say?

This week I’m talking about how I’m actually realizing that I need to tune into my ADHD and learn more about it. I kind of have been going through life just accepting my fate with it and not really understanding it or realizing that I can make this work for me, for some reason, I never had the idea to research it to delve more into understanding it and why I do the things that I do.

this all actually stems from finding Midwest magic cleaning where the creator is autistic and his wife has ADHD and how neurodivergence can really inhibit daily tasks ,Especially things like cleaning up around the house .

The channel has become sort of a comfort safe Haven watching their videos, and take a little bit more of an inward look at how I’ve been living my life up until this point and where my future is headed.

I mean that in a positive way I think ADHD is a superpower and I’m actually grateful to have it.

If this resonates with you, whether you’re on the autistic spectrum or whatever you’re neural, divergency, happens to lie share this with other people who may benefit I intend to be focusing more on neurodivergent adult, and anything you could do to help me get the word out would be great

  • Finding hope in uncertain times: lifting hearts after an election.
    Nov 11 2024

    Hey squirrlefriend,

I know this week has been a rollercoaster for many of us. If you’re feeling heavy-hearted, worried, or just plain exhausted after the election, dude I feel that . In today’s episode, I’m sharing some real, honest thoughts on how to navigate those feelings and find some light in this uncertain time.

I’ll be talking about honoring these heavy emotions, finding small ways we can ground ourselves , and the power of taking positive action—even if it’s just a tiny step. We’re in this together, and I’m here to offer you some comfort and encouragement.

In this episode, we’ll talk about:

    • How we can allow ourselves to feel whatever we’re NOT feelin right now.
    • Simple, grounding practices to help you catch your breath and find some peace.
    • Ways we can turn those anxious thoughts into positive action and hope.
    • A personal mantra to keep close when the world feels a bit too much.

    Takeaways:

    1. It’s okay to feel upset, scared, or uncertain—sometimes just giving yourself permission to feel it can be freeing.
    2. Little things like a few deep breaths, writing down what you’re grateful for, or even calling a friend can make a huge difference.
    3. Turning those worries into small actions—whether it’s spreading kindness, volunteering, or just being there for someone—can help you shift your mindset.
    4. You’ve got so much more strength and resilience than you realize, and brighter days ARE ahead.

    Mantra of the Week:

“In this moment, I am safe, I am strong, and I am capable of finding light even in darkness. I trust that better days are coming, and I have the power to create hope, peace, and joy in my life.”

Take a moment to breathe and say this to yourself whenever you need a little extra comfort.

    Be a pal
