  • Sterling Recovery — Carpal Tunnel Myths, Facts & Modern Fixes with Dr. William Jackson, DO
    Nov 12 2025

Carpal tunnel syndrome doesn’t have to be scary—or permanent. In this episode, Dr. William Jackson, DO, upper-extremity and hand specialist at Sterling Ridge Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine (The Woodlands, Spring, Montgomery, TX), breaks down what CTS really is, the most common myths (like “surgery is always painful” or “recovery takes months”), and how today’s care ranges from night splints and activity changes to injections and minimally invasive carpal tunnel release—all focused on faster, safer relief. Dr. Jackson also shares what symptoms mean it’s time to see a specialist (numbness, tingling, night pain, grip weakness), how doctors confirm the diagnosis, and what to expect before and after treatment. He trained in orthopaedic surgery at Ohio University and completed a Hand/Upper Extremity fellowship at Tufts University–New England Medical Center, bringing deep expertise to patients across North Houston. If you’re dealing with wrist or hand symptoms, don’t wait—early evaluation can protect your nerve and speed recovery. Schedule a consult with Dr. Jackson at SROSM in The Woodlands/Spring/Montgomery.

  • From One Office to a Movement: How Sterling Ridge Became The Woodlands’ Leading Orthopedic Practice
    Oct 8 2025

What started as one physician’s dream to bring compassionate, world-class orthopedic care to The Woodlands has grown into a regional leader in musculoskeletal health. With three state-of-the-art locations, over 150 employees, and a team of surgeons, therapists, and specialists working in harmony, Sterling Ridge Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine has redefined what it means to care for a community.

Have you ever wondered what it really takes to build one of the most respected orthopedic practices in Texas? In this episode, we explore the journey of Sterling Ridge Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine — from its humble beginnings as a single office founded by Dr. Bill Hayes, to becoming a comprehensive network that now includes three thriving locations, an advanced ambulatory surgery center, and a team of 11 orthopedic surgeons, one chiropractor, and a full roster of physical and occupational therapists, physician assistants, and support staff.

For more than a decade, Sterling Ridge has been voted “Best Orthopedic Practice in The Woodlands”, a testament to their commitment to quality, innovation, and community trust. But behind every accolade is a story — one of long hours, shared vision, and an unwavering belief that patients deserve personalized care from people who live and work right here in Montgomery County.

In this special episode, you’ll hear how the practice has evolved alongside The Woodlands itself — investing in cutting-edge technology, attracting top surgical talent, and building a culture rooted in compassion, teamwork, and results. Whether you’re a patient, a healthcare professional, or simply someone who loves a great success story, this conversation offers a rare behind-the-scenes look at how dedication and community focus can turn a single office into a movement that’s changing lives every day.
