His 1925 book Praktischer Idealismus, long ignored by mainstream academia, spelled out a future where national identities would disappear, Europe would be ruled by a supranational elite, and its native peoples would be blended into a new racial type.

    Believers in the conspiracy argue that this was not simply a utopian daydream, it was a masterplan. They call it the Kalergi Plan, and they see its fingerprints everywhere: in the creation of the European Union, in the rise of mass immigration, in the propaganda of multiculturalism, and in the systematic shaming of European heritage.
