About this listen

Conducting Conversations to Connect. After having lived and worked in three different continents and having worn many different hats in the recent past - researcher, doctor, public health professional, city planner, social entrepreneur, activist, and so on - I have developed a diverse group of friends doing interesting, cool, and inspiring things. I am known to connect people so I took it to the next step and now I am creating a podcast which includes friends from my network doing some really interesting and inspiring things - what will happen if I bring all my friends together on the same platform. MAGIC I would like to think. I am capturing that magical moment when I talk to the inspiring people on my network and bringing it to an audience of freethinkers and forward thinkers.© 2023 Synaptic Explorer Art

What can one passionate person do?. Watch this episode on how Dr. Florence from Uganda pursued her passion for mental health to be accessible and equitable in Africa and globally. A WHO country representative who encourages every young clinician to pursue health policy and fight for their passion especially young women physicians, this episode was nothing short of an inspiration to me...
An investment of 1$ towards mental health policy could create a 4$ return- an economic fact that is unbeatable. Explore with Dr. Florence on how she has been fighting all her life to create accessible mental health policies all over Africa-recounting her wins and losses she encourages all of us to be a small part in the bigger universe ... A staunch buddhist and a mother of three beautiful young women to me this episode was profoundly personal.
