✨ Teaching Description: John 15:18–25In Gospel of John 15:18–25, Jesus prepares His disciples for the reality of rejection and persecution. He teaches that the hatred of the world is not personal, but spiritual—because the world first rejected Him. As followers of Christ, believers are chosen out of the world, and therefore should expect to be treated differently.This passage reveals a clear contrast between those who belong to God and those aligned with the world system. The world resists the truth because it exposes sin and calls for repentance. Jesus reminds us that a servant is not greater than their master—if He was persecuted, His followers will be also. Yet, this opposition becomes a testimony, showing who truly knows and follows God.Jesus also emphasizes accountability: those who reject Him and His words are without excuse because they have witnessed truth. Their rejection is ultimately a rejection of God Himself, fulfilling what was written in the law—that they would hate Him without a cause.
