In today's episode, we talk to Francesca Maini. Francesca is a kitesurfer, kite foil racer and winger. We chat about how she first learnt to kitesurf and how winning her first competition in Cape Town made her a team rider for F-one. We also talk about the tricks she’s working on, why she loves big air so much and what her plans for training and competitions are. In today’s episode, we talk to Rui Merralls. Rui is an all around waterman but these days, he mainly races on jet surf boards, kitesurfs and wakeboards.

Today we chat with Karlie Thoma. Karlie is a badass waterwoman from Hawaii and lately she’s been shining in big air kiteboarding - having just won second place in the Tatajubafest in Brazil. Karlie started kiteboarding at 9 and then went on to surfing and other watersports before coming back to kiting and getting sponsored by North.

We discuss what needs to change in women kiteboarding competitions, some crazy tricks she’s working on and what’s next for her. We loved chatting with Karlie and hearing some of her gnarly stories.
