This week’s Roll for Art challenge brought the holiday vibes in full force 🎄🎲

The dice landed on Realism, Alcohol Markers, and a classic Christmas red truck hauling a tree in the back. Shiny paint, soft winter shadows, crisp highlights, and that unmistakable festive nostalgia all came together in this piece. Every marker layer was pushed for depth and realism, from the chrome details to the texture of the evergreen riding home for the holidays.

This week’s Roll for Art challenge landed us on Realism, Graphite Pencil, and the subject of a Cardinal 🐦⚔️

Clean whites, rich blacks, and all those subtle graphite gradients came into play as this piece focused on texture, contrast, and capturing the quiet intensity of this iconic bird. Feathers were treated like armor plates, highlights were rolled with intention, and every shadow was earned—no shortcuts on this one.

As always, the dice decided the fate. A few good rolls, a few risky ones, and a whole lot of pencil mileage later, this is where the challenge landed.
